Chester University.
We're a small club built around playing regularly — a league team, club nights every Tuesday and Thursday, an internal ladder that keeps everyone matched against someone their level, and padel whenever enough of us fancy it.
North West Counties
Exton Park UNC 1 plays in Division 5 South West. Home matches are at Chester University; away nights take us around Cheshire and the Wirral. Five players a match, so there are places for people who aren't the top of the ladder.
Every Tuesday and Thursday
From 18:00 at Chester University. Turn up, get a few games, stay for as long as you like. It's the easiest way to meet the rest of us and the best place to start if you're new.
Whenever there's four
Someone proposes a date, everyone says whether they're in, and the group votes on which courts to book from the ones around Chester and Ellesmere Port.
Everyone gets a competitive game
Players are split into boxes of similar standard and everyone plays everyone in their box over about five weeks. Win your box and you go up; finish bottom and you drop down. It sorts itself out, so whatever your level you end up playing people you can actually have a match with.
A point for turning up, a point for every game you win, and three more for taking the match — so a close loss is still worth playing for.

What it costs
We keep it simple: you pay for the sessions you actually play, collected through the club rather than at the door.
Padel courts are booked through the Playtomic app and split between whoever plays.

Come to a club night
Every Tuesday and Thursday from 18:00 at Parry Squash Courts. Play a few games, meet everyone, see what you think.
Your first nights are free
You play as a guest while you're deciding, and we don't charge guests for club nights. No membership to take out, nothing to cancel if it isn't for you.
Join the squad
When you want in properly we add you to the squad list — that's the box league, a shot at a league place, and £3.00 a night from then on.
Once you're on the squad list, with Google to reply to fixtures, see the box league and check what you owe. One of us approves your account and links it to your name, so there's a short wait the first time.
Finding the courts
The squash courts are on the University of Chester's Exton Park campus, a short walk north of the city centre. First time on campus? The pin below is the building itself.
Bache station is about 15 minutes' walk from campus; Chester station about 20.
Arriva's 1 and 1A stop nearby, and three Park and Ride routes stop within walking distance.
Parking on campus is limited, so allow time — or walk, cycle or catch the bus if you can.
